The toughest part of each day is getting up; especially when you have to do exercises. Most of us look for excuses to try not to do them. Finding great morning exercises can make it much easier for you to perform them. These morning exercises to help start your day, are some of the best out there.

The reasons for exercising regularly are quite substantial. The same for the benefits of exercising in the morning. Your body will reap huge rewards if you put it through morning exercises. The problem is that too often, our bodies will feel like if they are in snooze mode. For those who have problems finding motivation in the morning to workout, there are some things you can do. Make sure you start with calmer workouts. Then, you can gradually move on to more rigorous exercises once you get in the groove. Shoulder Shrugs – Doing shoulder shrugs in the morning has several benefits. Believe it or not, you can burn a few calories and stretch your body. To begin, you can stay seated on the edge of your bed or a chair. Make sure your feet are planted on the floor. Then, you can shrug your shoulders all the way up to your ears. Do at least 10 sets.

Reverse Oblique Crunch – This is a great exercise since it will help tone your abs and let you burn calories. You will feel this workout right away on your abs.

Walk or Run – A great workout in the morning is either running or walking. You can also jump on a treadmill if you like. Still, going outside will let you connect with the world and nature. You can start small and then work your way up to a few miles. Before you know it, you may end up running in a marathon.

Lumbar Flexion Morning Stretch – This exercise will allow you to stretch your lower back. You can do this while seated in a chair. It is a great workout for those that suffer from spinal stenosis. Or simply have backaches from sitting down all day.

Hollow Body Hold – Another awesome workout for your abs and to help tone your body. You can do this while laying down on the floor using your legs and arms. The closer your legs are to the floor, the more challenging this workout becomes.

Jumping Jacks – The jumping jacks will never go out of style and are one of the best cardiovascular workouts out there. They also help tone your deltoids and calves. Start by doing a few each morning and then slowly work your way up in reps.

Leg Squats – One of the good things about the leg squats workout is that they involve a few parts of your body. You will not only have your legs involved, but your knees and hips as well. These will burn after a while which is a great sign that they are working.
